Hi, my name is Lauren LoPiccolo and I am looking to fundraise for my chance to fulfill my lifelong dream of riding in the Land Rover Kentucky Three Day Event in Lexington, Kentucky this April!

I am a mother of two and a full-time coach and horse trainer that has personally produced and competed my horse, “Diego,” for the last 9 years to prepare and qualify for this prestigious event. To help us to be at our best for the event “Diego” will need to travel East at the end of February where I plan to complete two shows in Georgia and South Carolina before our ultimate goal of the Land Rover Kentucky Three Day Event.

As you can imagine, the shipping, flights, and event costs are significant and though I am excited for the opportunity to represent Area VI Eventing and the Northern California community in Kentucky this spring, I find myself in need of help with the travel expenses to get there.  As a horse trainer and working Mom, it truly is a labor of love.

I need the support of family, friends, horse lovers with a dream, and my community to make this happen. Thank you for considering helping me get on the Road to Kentucky!

What does the Land Rover Kentucky Three Event consist of? What are Lauren and Diego going to tackle?

Day 1: First Horse Inspection and Dressage. Lauren and Diego have to perform a set of movements that are then judged for accuracy and correctness.

Day 2: Cross country day. Lauren and Diego have to jump cross country obstacles that can be 3'11 high and 5'11 wide. Drops can be 6'7 and they have about 7 minutes to complete a course that is 2.5 miles in length.

Day 3: Second Horse Inspection and Stadium. The stadium jumps are  4'1 in height and can be 4'9 in width.
